Work Calendar : All 12 Month Staff

FLSA Status : Exempt

GENERAL PURPOSE

Under the supervision of the Principal this position provides direction and coordination of activities and athletics programs at the high school level.

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead operation of all student athletics and activities

• Supervise all co-curricular and athletic activities including budget administration event coordination and protection of student safety
• Prepare the schools interscholastic athletic schedule in consultation with the Principal and coaching staff
• Coordinate the operation of athletic contests including transportation officials facilities and security
• Represent the school in district regional and state VHSL meetings as required and ensures compliance with VHSL rules
• Supervise event sales including staffing accounting and safe deposit of monies collected.
• Serve as primary designee of Principal for selection assignment and supervision of coaching staff and activity sponsors
• Work with staff within school and relevant central departments to ensure appropriate hiring onboarding and review of coaches and sponsors
