Job Details :

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

3x12 schedule

MS / Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required

2 years of experience required

First-time travelers accepted

Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum overall score of 80% and 100% score on lethal rhythms

ACLS and BLS certifications required

Every 3rd weekend required

One major holiday per contract required

Float to MS and MS / Tele units as needed

Patient ratios : 4 patients during days, 5 patients during nights, 4 patients on weekends

Care for patients of all age groups : adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Work with daily census of 125 patients across 44 rooms and 52 beds

Skills required include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, wound care, and use of rapid response / code teams

Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Two supervisor references required

Must have compact license or MD license

Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

Complete modules pre-start and during orientation (average 12 hours)
