About The Position

Job Title : Pediatric Psychiatry RN Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Psychiatric Nursing Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 AM Hours per Shift : 36 hours Experience : 2 years License : Current RN License Certifications : BLS Must-Have : - Trauma-informed care - Patient-centered approach - Verbal de-escalation skills Description : Inpatient program serving patients ages 3 to 17 years who require a stay. Patients receive 24-hour care through child and adolescent services. The environment is nurturing and non-coercive. Clinician to patient ratio is 1 to 3. Patient population includes children ages 4 to 18. The unit has a bed count of 30. Census typically ranges from 20 to 25. Charting system utilized is EPIC. Floating to other behavioral health areas is required. Rotating shifts are required for day positions, but not for night positions.
