Responsibilities
Train new employees and retraining of current staff when required
Review eligibility control report daily for discrepancies / inconsistencies and update of COBRA event status
Research and update COBRA based on member portal inquiries
Special COBRA projects and general duties as assigned
Import data and payments to COBRA applications to update coverage and event statuses
Update eligibility system to extend coverage based on unemployment information
Update / review eligibility system and insertion of eligibility overrides based on eligibility department guidelines
Review / audit adjustment completed by QCR II for system accuracy and reimbursement amount
Validation of COBRA payments received daily by the banking unit and prepare for distribution to the staff
Assist and support V3locity (Vitech) system testing
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum two (2) years' experience in COBRA and customer service required
Thorough knowledge of eligibility system Enrollment Processing, COBRA
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Demonstrated organizational skills
Excellent oral / written communication skills required
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required
Must be detail oriented
Ability to work overtime weekdays and Saturdays
Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
