About The Position

Job Title : GI / Endo Technician

Hours per Shift : 4x10 (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : NH Medical Technologist License or Active LNA

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

• Required certifications : BLS, NH Medical Technologist License or Active LNA
• Minimum of 1 year experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Float required to an ambulatory surgery center if needed
• No weekends; days off per week will vary and are not set

Description :

This role requires a technician specializing in gastrointestinal / endoscopic procedures.

The technician will assist with various endoscopic procedures and support during biopsies and stenting.

Experience with the following equipment is essential : endoscopes, EGD scopes, colonoscopes, dilators, and electrosurgical units.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in high-level disinfection and infection control practices.

Responsibilities include preparing and cleaning the procedure room, labeling specimens, and restocking supplies.

The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a daily census of patients.

The team handles common GI diagnoses and performs specialized procedures such as ERCP and EUS.

Technicians must be knowledgeable in using tracking systems and reprocessing equipment.

Direct access to the operating room in case of emergency is available.

Travelers must meet all compliance regulations and hold valid state licenses.
