Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a fast-paced, high-volume setting requiring Epic experience and strong pediatric skills.

Job Details

• Work in a combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department,
• Patients range from pediatric to geriatric and present with a wide variety of chief complaints and complex diagnoses including trauma, stroke, psychiatric emergencies, and oncological emergencies,
• Average daily census is 70, with approximately 160 visits per day, 36 rooms, and 50 beds,
• Special procedures include conscious sedation, trauma / stroke alerts, cath lab activation, and SANE consultations,
• Unit utilizes Point of Care US, EPOC, Belmont, Ranger, and teleneurology equipment,
• EMR system is Epic and Omnicell, with SBAR and Voalte for communication,
• 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00pm-7 : 30am), 36 hours per week,
• Every other weekend required,
• Floating to ICU and other emergency departments may be required in a helping hands / team nursing model,
• No call required,
