Pay Rate : $50 $62 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking X-Ray Technologist for an exciting job in Long Island City NY.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a professional and compassionate patient experience by explaining procedures and reducing patient anxiety.

Prepare and accurately position patients for radiologic exams.

Operate imaging equipment and adjust technical factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in medical and departmental systems.

Perform basic equipment maintenance and coordinate service needs to ensure optimal uptime.

Manage inventory by monitoring supplies and ensuring availability.

Maintain a clean organized and compliant work environment.

Stay current with industry best practices through continuing education and professional development.

Support the team and contribute to departmental goals as needed.

Complete annual competency requirements.

Required Qualifications

02 years of experience (new graduates welcome).

New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.).

ARRT Certification required.

Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
