• The Policy Intern will work during the Spring Semester in 2026 (January-May, specific dates are flexible), approximately 10 hours / week.
• This role will be hybrid. Some in-office time will be expected in our Minneapolis office.

Join Our Policy Team

Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) seeks a Policy Intern to work as a part of the Policy Team, supporting the team's efforts and initiatives at the Minnesota Legislature, Minnesota Public Utilities Commission, and Minnesota Department of Commerce. CEE is looking for a candidate with strong interest in regulatory and legislative energy policy, ability to work with diverse stakeholders and groups, demonstrated quantitative reasoning experience, attention to detail, and strong writing skills. Our ideal candidate will have a desire to work for a mission-driven organization and work collaboratively on a small, but very active policy team.

$19.00-$21.00 / hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
