Senior Budget Analyst (Fully On-site Nashville, TN)

Under the direct supervision of the Budget Director, the Senior Budget Analyst analyzes financial data and develops complex reports for forecasting and results analysis. Position may train others in budget related processes and procedures.

Daily Operations

• Review and analyze budget information prepared by departmental users and assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget.
• Conducts complex work assignments and problem resolution with stakeholders.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Principal Responsibilities :

Scope of Responsibilities :

Knows the formal and informal departmental goals, standards, policies and procedures which may include some familiarity of other departments within the school / division. Understands and is sensitive to the interrelationship of both people and functions within the department.

On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and / or quality of service within the functional area.

Authority :

May assist in directing activities of staff or a function.
