Truck Scale Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Join our team in Bryan, TX as a Truck Scale Coordinator and play a key role in the daily operations of our scrap metal yard. As a Truck Scale Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for customers crossing the scale with incoming and outgoing loads. You'll use our automated systems to weigh shipments, process inspection tickets, and handle over-the-scale payments - all while working closely with yard personnel and ensuring accurate inventory control. Responsibilities :

• Weigh incoming and outgoing scrap metal using our automated system
• Communicate with yard staff to coordinate loads
• Process inspection tickets and payments
• Retrieve and enter data into internal systems
• Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
• Maintain the radiation detection system
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations
• Support other operational tasks as needed Qualifications :
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Knowledge of scrap metal commodities or transportation laws is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of customer service experience Working Conditions :
• Onsite role performed primarily outdoors in all weather conditions
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
• Work hours may vary; some weekend or evening shifts may be required
