Position Description
The Assistant Project Manager supports multisite projects by coordinating vendors, tracking deliverables, and managing budgets. This role ensures project efficiency, quality, and timely completion while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have experience with petroleum equipment, underground and aboveground fuel storage tanks, and / or experience in the construction industry. Candidates that do not meet prior industry experience must be willing and able to complete travel and training requirements outlined below for the first year of employment.
Training Expectations
This position is well suited for individuals who are flexible, dependable, and comfortable with frequent travel. It involves working in a variety of environments and job sites, often across a wide geographic area to support client needs.
The role begins with approximately four weeks of in-person training based out of our Richardson, TX office. During this period, overnight travel will be required about 50% of the time.
After training, the position will involve overnight travel approximately +75% of the time. During peak testing seasons, technicians may be required to travel for up to three consecutive weeks, including weekends, depending on project and client schedules.
All travel-related expenses, including lodging, transportation, and daily per diem, will be provided by the company.
