Position Summary :

The Director of Field Services leads all field operations for McIntosh in Hillside, NJ, and Capital in Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will standardize operations, drive efficiency, and build a culture of accountability across both locations.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and align field service operations across multiple locations for consistency and quality

Develop service strategies that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction

Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams for smooth project execution

Oversee complex repair and service projects, meeting technical standards and customer expectations

Optimize processes and implement best practices using technology to enhance productivity

Mentor and develop high-performing field service leaders

Manage team performance, compensation, and professional development

Support Sales with quoting, project input, and technical guidance

Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or equivalent experience

10+ years in manufacturing or repair operations; motor or machine shop experience preferred

5+ years leading and developing high-performing teams

Expertise in motor repair and / or metal machining

Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S preferred

Strong budgeting, resource allocation, and operational management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
