Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 22 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - PCU Job Details : Varied work schedule with flexible scheduling Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for progressive care unit patients Work in direct patient care environment with frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and stretching Provide care based on physician orders and nursing plans in compliance with policies and standards Delegate appropriately and provide supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental needs Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team Document all care activities legibly and timely in patient records Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning May be required to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics Must maintain clinical performance competencies with annual validations Current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure required BLS certification required Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months required Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred Facility : This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides progressive care unit services as part of their continuum of care.
