About The Position

Seeking a Board-Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to serve as an Obstetrics Hospitalist. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient care within a Level 2 NICU setting. Physicians will join a collaborative environment using EPIC EMR, focusing on delivering safe and high-quality obstetrical care.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide expert inpatient obstetrical care, including labor and delivery management.
  • Manage approximately 4–5 deliveries per 24-hour shift (majority vaginal, ~25% C-sections).
  • Perform inpatient rounds and care for 13–14 patients daily.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Participate in holiday coverage with premium pay.
  • Ensure accurate documentation within EPIC EMR.

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (REQUIRED).
  • Active California medical license or application in progress (REQUIRED).
  • BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications (REQUIRED).
  • 1–5 years of experience in hospitalist or obstetric practice preferred.
  • Must be COVID-19 vaccinated.
  • NPDB self-query and malpractice / license history disclosure required.
  • Visa sponsorship (J1 / H1B) considered.
