Project Coordinator II / Business Process Analyst

Position Overview :
CMS Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Project Coordinator II / Business Process Analyst to support business operations, project coordination, and data management initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of projects, data analysis, workflow optimization, and reporting for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide high-level administrative and project coordination support.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions.
- Create, maintain, and update dashboards using Power BI .
- Develop and manage complex Excel spreadsheets and workflows.
- Design and deliver impactful presentations and visual reports in PowerPoint .
- Draft process manuals, job aids, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain daily production and project tracking reports.
- Coordinate travel, meeting schedules, and office logistics.
- Ensure data accuracy and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between departments and support cross-functional team needs.
- Travel up to 30% to attend onsite working sessions and meetings.
- Support teams in both unionized and non-unionized environments, as applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
5+ years of experience working in an office setting in administrative, analyst, or coordination roles.Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Access experience is a plus.Experience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards.Skilled in workflow development , tracking, and data analysis.Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain detailed project and production data.Experience with data-driven decision making and reporting.Familiarity with construction sites or project environments is beneficial.Experience working with union and nonunion professionals is a plus.Exposure to accounting principles or an accounting background is advantageous.Experience scheduling meetings with complex calendars.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.Experience in continuous improvement initiatives or Lean / Six Sigma environments.
