About the Role

The Company is seeking a full-time Vice President of Research and Advisory Services to play a pivotal role in shaping the research agenda and identifying future-facing digital themes for the supply chain industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a wide range of research content, including thought leadership pieces in various formats, and for sharing this content through speaking engagements and industry events. A key aspect of the role is the ability to distill complex information into accessible formats and to engage with customers to understand their needs and priorities. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, both in writing and speaking, and is comfortable taking a stand on controversial issues. They should be naturally curious, with a talent for asking insightful questions, and be adept at working in ambiguous areas. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in supply chain, AI, or tech implementations, with a background that may include consulting, industry analysis, or academia. The role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Experience in data analytics, industrial / energy, technical-operations, or APAC is a strong bonus. The candidate should be ambitious, creative, and have a can-do attitude, with a proven track record of working collaboratively both within a team and with external partners. Responsibilities also include conducting interviews, moderating events, and ensuring the continued engagement of customers with the company's services.
