Remote Mortgage Loan Officer – Must be Licensed in OH, FL, or AL

CX Mortgage is a growing mortgage brokerage dedicated to offering clients more choices, competitive rates, and personalized loan solutions. As a broker, we partner with multiple wholesale lenders to provide a full suite of products — from conventional and government loans to Non-QM, investor, and commercial financing.

We are looking for motivated and entrepreneurial Loan Officers who want to maximize their earnings and run their business with the flexibility of a broker platform.

Position Overview

As a Commission-Only Loan Officer , you will originate mortgage loans and leverage our extensive lender network to structure the best solutions for your clients. This is not a salaried position — instead, you’ll enjoy high commission splits, uncapped income, and full control over your pipeline.

Responsibilities

Originate and manage residential and / or commercial mortgage loans.

Develop and maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, investors, and business partners.

Collect borrower documentation and ensure file accuracy and compliance.

Evaluate credit, assets, and income to structure loan scenarios.

Work directly with our processing team to move loans efficiently to closing.

Stay up to date with lender guidelines, rates, and product offerings.

Qualifications

Active NMLS license (required).

2+ years of mortgage origination experience (preferred, but open to strong self-starters).

Knowledge of loan products including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, Non-QM, and DSCR.

Strong entrepreneurial mindset — motivated by commissions and independence.

Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

Ability to manage your own pipeline in a fast-moving environment.
