Survey Instrument Operator

GFY is seeking an Instrument Operator who is interested in being a part of an influential work environment. This position will assist the Crew Chief and operate instruments necessary while surveying to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, titles, mining, or other purposes by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities :

• Operation of Electronic Data Collection equipment (Trimble preferred)
• Operate contemporary survey instruments with little supervision or training
• Duties may differ depending on the area or project
• Perform a variety of routine tasks and work closely under supervision
• Perform a variety of tasks in support of survey or engineering activities
