Senior Data Architect

JCW has partnered with leading provider of insurance, risk management, and data-driven solutions dedicated to the housing industry, to identify a Senior Data Architect to lead the strategy, design, and evolution of their enterprise data platform. This is a hybrid role based in the Cheshire, CT area.

This individual will own the enterprise data architecture roadmap, guide data modeling standards, strengthen governance and security practices, and enable high-quality analytics across the business. You’ll partner closely with Application, Infrastructure / Cloud, Cybersecurity, and business teams while shaping the data platform’s long-term scalability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture roadmap and reference architectures (warehouse, lakehouse).
• Own canonical models, dimensional designs, and integration standards across pipelines.
• Establish data governance, quality, lineage, and security practices.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure / Cloud to guide reliability, observability, and cost optimization.
• Enable high-quality analytics and a governed Power BI semantic layer for self-service use cases.
