Westside Pet Hospital is seeking a dynamic and growth-minded Hospital Manager to join our team in beautiful Bend, Oregon!

As Hospital Manager, you'll work closely with the Medical Director and play a key role in both the business operations and team culture. You'll help lead by example, foster trust within the team, and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment. This is a highly involved role that includes supporting the hospital in various capacities, including general patient care, client service, and team coordination.

In this role, you'll :

  • Partner with leadership to drive operational and cultural excellence
  • Lead by example and mentor team members to achieve personal and professional growth
  • Take ownership of business performance, budgeting, and team productivity
  • Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure efficient hospital flow and team satisfaction
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuing education efforts
  • Step in on the floor when needed to maintain a seamless client and patient experience

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about veterinary medicine, team building, and operational excellence.

Schedule, benefits and compensation

This is a full-time, salaried position and schedule flexibility is required based on business needs.

  • Compensation : $65,000 - $75,000 annual base salary
  • Bonus package : Up to $2000 based on experience and credentials
  • CE allowance : up to $1,000 based on credentials

  • Your Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of leadership experience is preferred but can be developed
  • 3+ years Veterinary experience is required
  • CVPM or equivalent education preferred
  • Committed to fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and accountability
  • Resilience and adeptness in handling emotionally charged situations.
  • Proven skills in scheduling, coaching, training, and conducting performance reviews
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable stepping in to support on the floor when needed
