The Role

As a Career Coach , you will serve as a key learning and support resource for our Graduation Candidates (GCs), helping them master the academic and career-readiness skills necessary for graduation and post-secondary success. You will guide students through a competency-based blended curriculum while leading the development of Personalized Learning Plans and supporting them in achieving academic milestones, career goals, and college or workforce readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment

• Support new student enrollment by participating in recruitment and outreach efforts
• Assist in the implementation of GC orientation
• Lead the development of Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) tailored to each student's unique goals
• Guide students in creating class schedules to meet attendance and academic requirements
• Assign courses in accordance with the PLP

What We're Looking For

Education : Bachelor's degree required, Masters' preferred

Certification : Texas educator's license with a School Counseling endorsement (REQUIRED)

Experience : 3+ years of relevant experience

Skills : Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; a passion for mentoring and coaching youth

Passion : A deep commitment to supporting high school-aged students who have disengaged from traditional schooling and empowering them to achieve academic and personal breakthroughs
