As a Potentiometer Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you’ll move from station to station bringing components to life through careful wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly.
A day in this role
- Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies and final units with attention to quality and repeatability.
- Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering (including fine-pitch), and cable harnessing.
- Make setups and adjustments, holding tight tolerances to blueprint and schematic specifications.
- Handle semi-routine assignments while recognizing when to deviate from standard practice to ensure build success.
- Apply established job skills along with company procedures to complete tasks safely and accurately.
- Expect some overtime as part of the job (typically 5–10% of standard hours per week; actual overtime may vary).
Basic qualifications
High School Diploma / GED OR 2 years of verified, related experience.Preferred qualifications
Hands-on mechanical assembly background.Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.Comfort working under time pressure while maintaining quality.Proficiencies that help you excel
