Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Location : A town in upstate New York known for its historic significance, scenic landscapes, and proximity to natural hot springs.

Facility : Hospital serving the local community and surrounding areas, providing a wide range of medical services.

Opportunity :

• Seeking an additional locum Emergency Medicine APP to join their team
• Overseeing the Observation unit which consists of 2-3 patients- Will accept new grads
• Position available immediately with coverage required as soon as possible.
• 12-hour shifts- day and night shifts- provider must be flexible
• This facility does not include a fast-track area in the emergency department.
• Current documentation system : EPIC
• Census - 26 patients per day, 9500 per year
• Shift hours - either 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• Is it a single physician coverage? Single provider
• When not rounding in the Obs unit, the APP will be assisting in the ER as extra hand under the supervision of the ED physician
