Day to Day :

A leading aerospace and defense company in Colorado is looking for a Designer II to join their team for a short term contract. In this role, you will be using your skills and expertise to develop engineering definition for the Airborne Mission Network (AbMN) C-130 program. You'll create and review layouts, drawings, and models for clarity, completeness, and accuracy. You'll identify design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommend revisions and / or improvements in designs. These drawings will be incorporated into a very complex technical data package including parts and assemblies for advanced mission payloads and electronic systems. This will be a 6 month contract role paying up to $36 / hr

Must haves :

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 3 or more years of relevant experience as a designer (with a mechanical background)
• Proficient in SolidWorks
