RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a High School Diploma required

Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver required (CNA / HHA / PCA / RA / NAR)

Experience in an Home Care preferred

Ability to pass a background check with MN Department of Health and Human Services.

Reliable transportation to and from work.

Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language adequately to respond to individual's needs.

Ability to see and hear to communicate effectively.

Ability to lift to 50-75 pounds, which includes transferring individuals.

Ability to perform delegated nursing tasks as assigned.

Ability to respond to emergencies in accordance with procedures and guidelines.

Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, reach, push and pull.
