Laboratory Assistant (Allied)

Job Summary (List Format) :

• Schedule : Night shift, 10 : 00 PM 6 : 30 AM, 13-week assignment
• Location : No local candidates within 50 miles
• Department : 702A Clinical Lab Lab Assistant
• Experience : Minimum 2 years within specialty required
• Certification : Phlebotomy certification required
• Key Responsibilities :
• Handle laboratory data collection systems and equipment
• Ensure proper ordering, cancellation, and charging of laboratory test requests for all inpatients, outpatients, and institutional accounts
• Perform specimen collection procedures for both inpatients and outpatients
• Conduct non-technical specimen processing, preparation, and distribution
• Holiday Requirement : Must work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) AND 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the assignment
