SEG Analyst, Process Analysis Controls
As SEG Analyst, Process Analysis Controls within the Service Enablement Group (SEG), you will help safeguard Newmont's financial systems by supporting SOx compliance, improving internal controls, and ensuring policy alignment across workflows, approvals, and system access rights.
As part of our team, you will :
- Analyze and enhance financial controls, including user access, segregation of duties, and workflow approvals
- Support internal and external audit activities by identifying gaps and testing controls
- Develop testing criteria and support remediation of non-compliant processes
- Contribute to the design and standardization of control-related reporting and documentation
- Collaborate with digital, finance, and compliance teams to align systems with policy and regulatory standards
Prerequisites for your success in this role :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field3+ years of experience in internal controls, SOx compliance, or audit (internal / external)Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Workday) and control frameworks (e.g., COSO)Familiarity with policy governance, signature authority, and system access controlsStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsYour work environment :
The preferred location for candidates is near our corporate headquarters, in Denver, Colorado; however, highly qualified candidates near our regional offices, or any of our site locations, will be considered.Collaboration and interaction are expected with teams across the global, regional, and site organization as well as across other service and operational areas of Newmont across multiple time zones.The listed salary range applies to positions based in Colorado.
