Job Overview

Mercedes-Benz is seeking a dedicated Administrative and Site Support Processor to join our parts distribution center team. The SSP will support all roles and duties within the warehouse and the Key & Lock Operation where applicable. This role’s responsibilities will focus on providing administrative support to management and the Fontana, CA parts distribution center (PDC). Additional responsibilities include budget controlling, supporting the team with IT requests (ordering devices, user IDs extension and any other related support tasks), and supporting warehouse operations processes as needed. This position requires knowledge of MB warehouse management systems (Dview) and MB ordering system (SAP). Candidate will need to be intelligent and punctual with a positive and self-motivated attitude that will excel in a fast-paced work setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Support the PDC Manager and Supervisors where applicable.

• Administrative Support : Provide clerical support, including preparing correspondence, reports and documents, filing expense reports, and managing office supplies.
• Create Purchase Orders, checking and starting of invoices payment process, budget controlling.
• Office Management : Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment.
• Communication : Act as a liaison between staff and external clients, as well as with all the administrative support people within MBUSA, handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Data Management : Maintain company databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. This includes data entry, record-keeping, and preparing reports.
• Scheduling : Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff and management.

Qualifications & Requirements :

High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience High School Diploma (GED)

Must have 3+ years (total) of experience in the following :

Knowledge of administrative procedures, process / project development, and system procedures.

Knowledge of fundamental business practices and concepts that impact the success and profitability of the organization. >

Knowledge of the principles and methodology for a process-orientated, integrated approach to procuring, producing, and delivering products and services to customers.

Knowledge of processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques to achieve maximum efficiency.

Knowledge of accounting standards, statistical analysis, precision measurement, and process capability. Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations.

Additional Information

Computer Skills : (I.E. Microsoft office) Knowledge of IT infrastructure
