Position : Administrative Assistant- Event Planning

Pay rate : $20 - $25 per hour

30 - 40 hours per week

Job Description Summary

This role supports the planning and execution of company meetings and events, coordinating logistics such as venue selection, registration, communications, transportation, and on-site support. The position builds and maintains vendor relationships, manages data, and ensures high-quality attendee service.

Essential Qualifications :

High school diploma / GED; bachelor’s degree or 2 years’ related experience preferred

Intermediate MS Office skills - Computer skill requirements include intermediate MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and provide quality service

Strong communication and customer service skills

Willingness to travel and work flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor’s in Hospitality / Business

Meeting planner certification (CMP or CMM)

Experience in corporate event planning

Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities

No supervisory responsibilities. The role demands adaptability, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
