We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet strict quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control procedures, precision measurement tools, and manufacturing standards such as AS9100. The CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector will play a vital role in maintaining product integrity, compliance with industry standards, and continuous improvement of quality processes.

Responsibilities
\n \n
- Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify product specifications.
\n
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD models to ensure accurate manufacturing tolerances are met.\n
Perform quality inspections on machined parts and assemblies in accordance with ASME codes & standards and GD&T principles.\n
Utilize tools such as PC-DMIS software, Calypso, and other measurement systems to document inspection results accurately.\n
Review manufacturing processes for compliance with AS9100 standards.\n
Identify non-conformances or deviations from specifications and initiate corrective actions.\n
Collaborate with machining and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly.\n
Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare reports for management review.\n
Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.\n \n
Requirements
\n \n
Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, involving machining or CNC processes.\n
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, and schematic interpretation.\n
Proficiency with dimensional inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMMs (PC-DMIS preferred), and other precision instruments.\n
Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ASME codes & standards.\n
Mechanical knowledge related to tooling, machining processes, and CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).\n
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.\n
Experience with calibration procedures and quality management systems is a plus.\n
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills in math and measurement techniques.\n
