We are looking for a skilled Internal Auditor to support our team in Bartlett, Illinois. In this Contract position, you will play a crucial role in enhancing internal controls and ensuring compliance across various functional risk areas. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, expertise in internal audit processes, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with functional leaders to identify and document key internal controls for various risk areas.
• Develop comprehensive minimum standards of control documentation using predefined templates.
• Assist in designing training materials to promote awareness of internal control best practices and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by conducting assessments and evaluations.
• Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen the internal control environment within the organization.
• Review and document audit findings to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up.
• Support the annual internal audit process and contribute to compliance risk assessments.
• Maintain detailed documentation of audit programs and processes for organizational use.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports summarizing audit results and areas for improvement.
• Proven knowledge of internal controls and audit processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Familiarity with audit programs, financial audits, and compliance risk.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing audit findings and reports.
• Proficiency in maintaining documentation related to internal audits.
