Description : Mid-Level Welder

Job Summary : This position requires 1–3 years of welding experience with demonstrated ability to perform MIG and stick welding on a variety of metals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding safety practices, be able to read and interpret blueprints, and produce accurate, high-quality welds with minimal supervision.

The Mid-Level Welder will work on fabricating, repairing, and assembling metal components, ensuring compliance with company standards and project specifications. This role is well-suited for individuals who have progressed beyond entry-level welding, are confident in their technical abilities, and are motivated to continue developing advanced skills in fabrication and metalworking.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform welding operations using various welding techniques such as MIG, Stick & Air-Arc
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment
  • Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects or deviations from specifications
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations while performing welding tasks
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

Requirements :

  • Completion of a vocational or technical program in welding preferred
  • Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks for extended periods of time
  • Frequently exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, heat, and outside weather conditions
  • Basic math skills for calculating measurements and dimensions
  • Willingness to learn and improve welding skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
