Our client, a complex real estate firm, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage accounting and oversee a major international development project. This high-impact role focuses on the review and oversight of accounting work, management of complex audits, and coordination with cross-functional teams across multiple entities and geographies.

Salary Range : $, $, base salary, plus additional incentive compensation.

Responsibilities :

Oversee the Managed Accounts function and international project-level accounting activities

Review financial deliverables prepared by third-party accounting providers and internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness

Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and sources and uses analysis across multiple projects and entities

Manage property-level and consolidated corporate audits, including coordination with external auditors

Consolidate data from international operations and communicate audit-related information effectively

Participate in and drive process improvements and systems optimization initiatives

Conduct regular meetings with international finance teams and collaborate with project managers to ensure proper financial reporting

Navigate and manage complex, multi-entity accounting structures within a real estate investment and development organization

Qualifications :

Background in Big 4 public accounting and operational accounting required.

Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with research and audit coordination

Proven experience working in complex, multi-entity accounting environments

Ability to analyze large data sets and provide meaningful insights

Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and drive results

Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution

Preferred Qualifications :

Fluency (written, spoken) in Spanish and / or familiarity with Mexican accounting and tax regulations

Exposure to fund accounting principles and practices
