About the Role

The Company is actively seeking a Chief Underwriting Executive to spearhead the strategic and operational facets of a startup Managing General Agent (MGA) or Managing General Underwriter (MGU) within the commercial insurance landscape. The selected candidate will have a pivotal role in crafting and executing the overarching vision for the MGA / MGU, which includes the formulation of underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, and growth objectives.

This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting, specifically in property and casualty lines, along with a demonstrable history of launching and leading an MGA / MGU successfully.
