Commercial Corridor Cleaning Technician
Required to work under different environmental factors, ie. rain, heat, cold and snow.
Clean sidewalks from the building property line to the curb and at least 18 inches from the curb.
Clean all four corners of any intersection with the primary commercial street to be cleaned.
Clean in alternating directions along the commercial corridor to ensure all areas are covered.
Clean around tree pits, removing all litter and weeds.
Clean and sanitize big belly trash cans.
Change trash bags in wire trash cans daily along corridor when applicable.
Remove posters, stickers and other debris off street fixtures including parking and traffic signs.
Remove filled trash bags from company issued trash can and place at designated corner for pick up.
Clean out cigarette butts and other debris from cracks in the sidewalks as well as tree pits.
Clean between newspaper distribution boxes and neatly rearrange these boxes at each intersection.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Able to adapt to changes in schedules or routines.
Pay attention to detail when cleaning.
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to use backpack blower and weed trimmer for extended periods of time; ability to lift 25-30 pounds.
General knowledge of cleaning supplies and techniques for public space cleaning.
Able to work weekends.
Respectful and have a positive attitude.
Works well with others as a team player.
Strong desire to complete commercial corridor beautification projects.
Exhibits a willingness to learn, grow and develop oneself.
Follows instructions and open to feedback.

Job Type : Part-time
Pay : From $17.00 per hour.
Expected hours : 25-30 per week.
Benefits : Paid training.
Physical Setting : Outdoor work.
Schedule : 9AM-2PM Monday - Saturday.
