A Manufacturing Operations Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a manufacturing facility, ensuring production runs efficiently and effectively while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage teams, coordinate processes, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and direct production teams, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules, optimizing resource allocation and workflow.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Enforce safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Oversee the utilization of materials, equipment, and labor, optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste.
- Lead, motivate, and train production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Identify and resolve production issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor production output, analyze data, and provide feedback to employees to improve performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including management, other departments, and production staff.
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is often preferred.Significant experience in manufacturing, production, or a related supervisory role is essential.Ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control procedures.Ability to identify and resolve complex production issues.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment.Experience with relevant manufacturing software and systems.Friday - Sunday from 5am - 5pm
Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours!!!
