Director of Mergers & Acquisitions

Location : Hybrid in Addison, TX

Hours : Full Time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end M&A process, from identifying potential targets to executing transactions and integrating acquired businesses.
  • Develop and refine the company's M&A strategy aligned with business objectives, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to identify acquisition targets or partnership opportunities.
  • Drive the execution of M&A transactions, managing internal teams and external advisors.
  • Oversee due diligence processes across legal, financial, operational and regulatory aspects.
  • Evaluate financial viability using modeling, valuation analysis and synergy assessment.
  • Negotiate deal terms, structure, pricing and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, legal, finance, operations and other stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Lead lease execution for DeNovO centers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field from a top-rated university.
  • 5-10 years experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, portfolio company or corporate development, with direct experience leading deals through execution and due diligence.
  • Experience / background in healthcare industry preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in business valuation methodologies; strong finance and accounting understanding.
  • Extensive financial modeling skills and experience with various transaction types.
  • Excellent written, oral, and executive presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to build credibility with senior leaders and external targets.
  • Strong prioritization, multi-tasking in fast-paced environment, detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated to lead new projects and deliver quality results with limited oversight.
