Project Engineer / Project Manager – Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

Full-Time | Civil / Geotechnical | Immediate Openings

We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager to lead construction materials testing and inspection projects across Northern California. This is a hybrid role based in Sacramento — a great fit for professionals in the SF Bay Area, Sonoma County, Solano County, or the Sacramento region .

You’ll spend a couple of days per week in the Sacramento office and can work the rest of the time from home or our Concord office . If you’re ready for a high-impact role with flexibility and growth potential, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Act as the single point of contact for assigned projects

Manage field and laboratory construction materials testing

Review reports and address nonconformance issues

Handle project billing, budgets, and assist with collections

Provide direction and technical support to field teams

Conduct periodic site visits and coordinate with project stakeholders

Oversee DSA and HCAi project compliance

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in construction management or civil / geotechnical engineering

Strong knowledge of structural special inspections

California PE license (required)

Experience with materials testing and inspections is a plus

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet performance goals
