Security Manager
Under the direction of the Security Shift Manager, coordinates all activities with events at the facility, including the planning, organizing and security of events within the facility to meet contractual obligations and quality customer service standards. Coordinates with the Hard Rock Live Operations and Production Manager, as well as Hotel, Casino Managers and Security Managers to go over the schedule of events held in and around the building and property.
Essential Job Functions :
- Meets with Security Managers of featured artists to provide information and guidance to the client in order to obtain accurate security measures.
- Coordinate all "meet & greet" with artists and oversee security and safety of the artist.
- Oversee the distribution of credentials and passes.
- Coordinate number of and positioning of all EMS.
- Determine placement & monitor all electronic video devices.
- Monitor fire alarm system.
- Establish & implement emergency evacuation plan.
- Provide security for all vendors ie : sales of merchandise, transportation of all money from the sales of merchandise.
- Hire new employees.
- Train employees : use of radio, physical altercations, verbal altercations, disorderly conduct, guest relations, crowd control, artist escort.
- Coordinate all scheduling for security staff.
- Develop a plan for each event ie : location of staff, route for artists.
- Escort all featured artists to and from the events and maintain security.
- Process / Approve / Deliver payroll for security.
- Coordinate with Seminole Police number of officers needed for each event, as well as report time, duties and location of officers, traffic and police escort of artists.
- Coordinate parking of tour buses, trucks, guests.
- Handle the distribution of all money for concession stands.
- Coordinate security details outside Hard Rock Live ie : Tribal Christmas party, pool functions, Seminole Paradise functions, boxing events, press conferences, special events, etc.
- Write reports and document all incidents at HRL.
- Supervise approximately 70 employees.
- Handle any / all security issues with HRL.
- Oversee all performances, ensure the safety of all patrons, guests, employees and anyone associated with and during the events.
- Provide security for ticket booth operations ie : coordinate the orderly distribution of tickets to special events.
- Oversee placement of all media trucks and equipment to ensure the safety of patrons, guests, employees and artists.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent required. One (1) year of job-related Security experience required in a high volume casino / hotel complex environment or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience. Security experience may be substituted with law enforcement experience.

Must be able to work in a professional office environment as well as within Hard Rock Live with constant exposure to general public.May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.
