Program Manager For Electronic Warfare Domain

This is a position for candidates with research and development (R&D) program management experience. In this role, you will provide key program management and pursuit support enabling NCT technical staff to win and deliver innovative solutions to customers in the Electronic Warfare domain. As the program manager for active contracts, you will work collaboratively with our principal investigators (PI) to help coordinate resources, track progress, facilitate collaboration, and ensure on-time delivery within budget. Your leadership and organizational skills will empower our engineers and scientists to push boundaries and meet critical customer needs. For pursuit activities, you will work directly with our tech director to meet with customers, pursue new applied research concepts, and develop winning proposals as the capture manager.

What you will do :

• Translate and track customer needs, and advise technical experts and senior leaders on optimal solutions
• Coordinate extensively across technical and functional support staff to enable on-time, on-budget delivery
• Identify, track, and escalate program risks and issues for mitigation
• Deliver regular project updates and insights to stakeholders and Technical Director
• Lead review meetings, inform decision making, and coordinate across complex project interdependencies
• Lead technical staff to execute in a cohesive strategic direction across projects
• Drive successful execution of field events and prototype demonstrations
• Manage the pre-proposal pursuit process across multiple early-concept opportunities with various government R&D customers.
• Lead capture on proposal responses to BAAs and RFPs to include managing the capture, coordinating with subcontractors, collaborating with the technical team to write the technical volume, working with internal contracts and finance teams to produce the cost volume.

The salary range for this role is $137,000 - $275,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance.
