About the job

CTH is looking for a mental health therapist that is interested in being part of a dynamic and invested team in carrying out the center's vision to provide compassionate and inclusive mental healthcare. Our center is focused on reducing access barriers to mental health services through our clinical services, community-based research as well as supervision and training opportunities. We currently offer both in-person and telehealth therapy services; our physical office is located in downtown Eugene, OR but we are excited to have a team that can work partially or fully remotely as needed. CTH is a registered employer in the states of Washington and Oregon; therefore, Oregon and Washington residents may apply if eligible for clinical licensure in the state of Oregon. Mental health therapists that are interested in working full-time are preferred but we will consider a part-time position that is .75 FTE or higher.

We emphasize continual evaluation of the effectiveness of our services and engage in discovery-oriented research to inform creative solutions for reducing health and social disparities.

Qualifications :

  • Education : A clinical master's degree in counseling, marriage / couples and family therapy, or clinical social work.
  • Licensure : Must be a post-graduate who is registered as an Associate or is licensed in the state of Oregon (LMFT, LPC, LCSW). Psychologists licensed in the state of Oregon are also welcome to apply.
  • Experience : At least one year of experience working as a therapist with children with mental health issues, and their families. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

  • Evidence of strong collaboration skills and effective communication with supervisors, colleagues, administration, other providers and larger systems of care.
  • Experience or strong interest in evaluating the effectiveness of services through clinical research and objective measures.
  • Demonstrated skill in adapting clinical approach based on feedback and evaluation data.
  • A strong interest in continual learning and mutual sharing of resources, ideas, and experience with other team members.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to Systems Theory conceptualization and practice.
  • Experience doing or interest in learning how to do comprehensive mental health assessments for ADHD and ASD.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care to individuals, relational systems, and supervisees.
  • Strong team orientation and expressed interest in investing themselves in the development and maintenance of a healthy team culture and work environment.
  • Experience managing a full caseload and timely documentation.

    • Primary Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct psychotherapy services to individuals, intimate partnerships, families, and groups.
  • Collaborate with the CTH team to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Timely and HIPAA compliant documentation of services provided.
  • Participation in monthly team meetings and annual retreats.
  • Coordination of care with providers in and outside of CTH.
  • Engagement and contribution to carrying out the CTH team vision.
  • Consume research and participate in CTH supervision / consultation and training opportunities to continually learn best practices.
