Electronic Security Design Engineer

Bryan Area, TX | Full-Time

Client is a technology leader with over 37 years of success, is growing our Electronic Security team! We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Electronic Security Design Engineer to deliver high-quality, turnkey video surveillance and access control solutions in commercial environments. • What You'll Do
• Design commercial electronic security systems (access control & video surveillance) from concept to completion
• Develop bills of materials, system drawings, and detailed design documents
• Generate construction documents, floor plans, elevations, RCPs, schematics, and mounting details using Revit, Visio, and D-Tools
• Perform job site surveys, attend design coordination meetings, and manage permit submittals
• Support project teams with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and as-built documentation
• Collaborate with clients, sales, and project managers to deliver projects that exceed expectations
• What You Bring
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Distribution (or equivalent)
• 5+ years' experience designing commercial security systems with a strong focus on access control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and Revit (Visio and D-Tools a plus)
• Solid understanding of network protocols, architectural plans, and building codes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high attention to detail
• Clean driving record and ability to travel occasionally
