Summary of Primary Functions :
The Teleo Support Specialist is responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Teleo Supervised Autonomy Solutions distributed by Dobbs Positioning Solutions. This role ensures proper functionality with the Teleo product line, assists with technology-related service work, and provides customer training as needed. This position reports directly to the Teleo Support Manager and is compensated on a salary basis. This position will also be responsible for partnering with the heavy equipment service teams in their area of responsibility (some cases may require working with brands other than John Deere) to ensure we have full support when installation and repairs are outside the scope of the Teleo ecosystem. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds. The employee must be capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 60 pounds, able to crawl and climb on / under heavy equipment, walk over construction / excavation sites (irregular terrain), stoop, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time and be able operate a motor vehicle day and night. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.
Work Environment : The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
