Aviation Department Financial Analyst
Plan and coordinate assigned financial activities and operations within the Aviation Department to include budgeting and development of policy recommendations; perform financial analytical duties in support of capital project budgets, grant administration and financial reporting; consolidate and analyze data for the presentation and monitoring of budgets; maintain accounting records and identify trends that may provide opportunity for improved efficiencies; and administering and controlling assigned budget functions including evaluation and reporting of key performance measures; coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies and the general public and provide highly responsible and complex staff assistance to higher level management staff.
Additional requirements : Possession of a valid New Mexico Drivers License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire. Possession of a City Operators Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire. Must be able to successfully qualify for and maintain a Sunport Access Control Card as determined by the criteria set forth by the policies and guidelines of the Aviation Department and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Successful completion of a security background check conducted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, if applicable.
