Description

You Are :

  • A technically inclined individual with a strong understanding of window treatment installation (motorized / manual) who enjoys problem-solving and delivering clean, professional work. You want to be in the field, hands on.

    • You Have :

  • Experience with the measuring, installation, programming, maintenance, and servicing of motorized window treatments across high-end residential and commercial projects.  (Ideally Lutron but you may come from installing versions from Crestron, Somfy, or similar)
  • Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and system layouts
  • Measure and order appropriate products in a timely manner
  • Coordinate & Oversee installation and commissioning of window treatments including roller shades, draperies, & roman shades
  • Integrate with home automation systems
  • Quality Control post installation
  • Perform system upgrades, software updates, & field modifications
  • Service calls, preventative maintenance, & ensure ongoing system performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose and repair field-related issues
  • Maintain up-to-date field documentation, installation logs, and service records.

    • Requirements :

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience installing motorized window treatments
  • Proficiency with leading brands such as Lutron & Crestron etc.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring and low-voltage systems

    • HEDSouth's Contribution to You :

  • $30 / hr to $45 / hr ($62k to $94k / yr) – Yup!
