Join our Crisis Center team and make a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health crises. The on-call Mental Health Technician provides direct client care, supports crisis interventions, and helps ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with client admissions, psychosocial histories, and mental status assessments.
• Support clients through verbal de-escalation and non-violent crisis interventions.
• Monitor client safety, assist with daily living activities, and lead therapeutic or educational activities.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain effective unit operations and ensure quality care.
• Communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, and community partners.

Desirable Knowledge, Abilities & Skills / Desirable Training & Experience :

Minimum Qualifications / Necessary Special Requirements : Graduation from a senior high school with some experience / education in the delivery of mental health services that include interacting with patients experiencing psychosocial problems, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.

This is an on-call position that provides coverage as needed, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility and reliability are essential.
