OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY

Provides directs supervision and support for youth ages 10 to 17 within a behavioral health residential facility as a part of the treatment team. Participates in therapeutic interaction, guidance, intervention, and role modeling while monitoring youth behavior according to program guidelines. Creates and maintain a therapeutic and trauma informed living environment through interactions, structure, and routine. Responsible for oversight of self-administration of medication, documentation of daily progress toward goals, transportation, and daily living skills with youth requiring a higher level of care, treatment, and behavioral health support.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High School Diploma or GED and relevant working experience
• Minimum 21 years old to work in residential environment

Certifications

JOB DEMANDS

Able to work a minimum of two 8-hour shifts to fullfill position duties. These may include days, nights, evenings, weekends depending on need. This role may work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands, seeking supervisory support as needed / appropriate.
