REHABILITATION MANAGER

Rehabilitation Manager

The Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for conducting special research studies, analyzing data, preparing statistics, making recommendations based on research findings, and monitoring and coordinating project / program activities. The position works under general supervision of the Division of Services for the Blind (DSB) Director. The position is responsible for administrative matters including gathering and maintaining documents and records for agency personnel. The Rehab Manager is also responsible for developing and implementing agency objectives, policies, and procedures. This position is subject to state and federal law and division and departmental policies and directives. This position requires on-site employment with no remote or hybrid options available.

Education and Professional Work Experience Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation Science, Occupational Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in rehabilitation services, rehabilitation instruction, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience working with individuals with disabilities in varied environments.
• Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) may be required.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) may be required.

The Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for fostering a collaborative environment, providing guidance and mentorship, and maintaining compliance with pre-determined regulatory standards. By combining administrative expertise with a deep understanding of rehabilitation practices, the manager ensures the effective operation of rehabilitation programs.
