Location : Anywhere in the continental US in near proximity to an airport.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Lead Fire Alarm Technician at Honeywell you will be at the forefront of protecting lives and property by ensuring the performance and reliability of critical fire alarm and life safety systems. You will lead the programming troubleshooting maintenance and inspection of cutting-edge fire detection systems in complex environments. Your technical expertise will directly support the safety of our clients and the quality of our fire protection solutions.

You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders ensuring systems are installed and maintained in accordance with industry codes and Honeywells high standards of excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to customer sites 7590% of the time managing your own travel arrangements site coordination and reporting.
• Program configure and test fire alarm panels including XLS-3000 and ZLS-140 systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on a wide range of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure code compliance and operational readiness.
• Interpret technical drawings specifications and fire codes to support system design and integration.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement across the team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records for compliance and reporting.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business and project needs.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS OVERVIEW

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas) Colorado Connecticut is $67300 - $85000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California the annual base salary range is $73500 - $95000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education and training key skills as well as market and business considerations.
