Job Summary :

The Program Engineer will work as part of the worldwide program team, providing corrective solutions to the model fleet in collaboration with Dassault Aviation (DA) in regards to airworthiness and technical fleet-wide issues. Will also provide support to the Command Center, Field Service Representatives, service centers, vendors, repair agents and customers in regards to fleet-wide concerns information to customers through letters, articles, and presentations (seminars, customer meetings). Ultimately advocate for the needs of Western Hemisphere (W / H) customers

Principal Duties :

Monitor / analyze fleet airworthiness and activity, identifying potential issues

Substantiate corrective actions in collaboration with DA to airworthiness / fleet -wide issues

Ensure operational, maintainability and regulatory impacts of technical issues regarding W / H fleet are represented in Product Support Agenda (PSA) process

Manage / coordinate PSAs; write PSA Phase 1 synthesis upon fleet issue identification

Coordinate high profile customer projects

Provide support to the Command Center, Field Service Representatives, service centers, vendors, repair agents and customers in regards to fleet-wide questions

Write letters to customers

Write technical articles (FSA) published on Falcon Portal website

Provide technical reports and executive summaries upon request

Develop and deliver presentations at customer meetings / company seminars

Review documentation for technical accuracy, spelling, grammar and readability prior to customer release

Attend / prepare regular meetings with DA (support meeting, logistics meeting, commercial meeting, etc.)

Provide on-site customer assistance as required

Validate service bulletins and maintenance procedures with W / H customers / DAS facilities on behalf of DA

Collaborate actively with coworkers within Engineering Support Department and within DA in France (RSP, “Responsable Support Programme”)

Act as Dassault Falcon representative to W / H industry groups (NBAA tech committee, Air Transport Association, etc.)

Interact with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as necessary regarding requests for information related to Falcon maintenance programs and any technical issues

Act as focal point for all DFJ departments providing input on technical issues related to program support

Minimum Qualifications :

BS degree with emphasis on aviation industry or equivalent experience

Three (3) years of experience in technical aspects of aircraft support or system design

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency

Able to present technical information in a formal setting

Interpersonal skills, team player with helpful nature

Multitasking and priority management skills with minimal supervision

Ability to find solutions / alternatives in best interest of customers and the company

Able to apply standard processes, procedures and criteria to assigned tasks

Able to perform independent research and investigations

Presented material / moderated a technical session for an M&O seminar

Completed FSI / CAE maintenance initial training

Completed a work exchange program with DA

Completed formal presentation and critical thinking training

Additional Desired Qualifications :

Experience with Falcon aircraft and Avionics

Experience in Customer Support or DFJ / DA Customer Service

Knowledge of FAA regulations

A&P license or equivalent experience

Experience in system / component failure analysis and aircraft system maintainability / reliability analysis

Knowledge or experience with 3D design software (CATIA V4 / V5)

Familiarity with French language

Experience in tools like SIEBEL, CAMP, FileMaker, etc.

Working Conditions : Office environment

Domestic and international travel when necessary (5-10% travel)

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position typically falls between $90,000 and $100,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education / certifications, and geographic location.
